Datathrash Recordings seek ideas for Crowd-sourcing campaign.

Today I noticed that the underground chiptune label known as Datathrash Recordings posted this on their facebook page.

In a nutshell

These guys are about to launch a crowd sourcing campaign with some bad ass incentives (Like a TShirt with the logo above) to raise needed funds to get cool bands to play a bad ass show (that will be free).

I am an advocate of crowd-sourcing. This is another great example of what crowd sourcing could accomplish when put into practice. If you happen to live in the area and want to check out a free show, or if you want to donate to feel good about helping out a great thing, then head on over to their FB page and contact these guys. MORE VIDEO: Pollux also summons the madness.

Earlier I was discussing a shocking revelation that RedSK and Dental Work were using noise to summon resonant deities.

Now, it would seem, that France has been bombarded with such demons of chaos as well.

Our friend Pollux shared a disturbing video in the SP Facebook group the other day titled Black Skull. Upon observation, it is clear that he has some how managed to tear a hole into our own reality and take us on a journey through a pineal highway that is sure to rip you out of this world.

Now and only now do I know what it is like to astral travel through a computer wire and slip into oblivion. It is not coincidence that I happened upon this video while super stoned on spirit smoke.

Hurrah for it’s glory.

If you listen closely, you can hear the whispers of the resonant being…

Pretty awesome right ? ❤

VIDEOS: RedSK & Dental Work make NOISE and TOTAL FUCKING CHAOS ENSUES.

A few videos have surfaced as of late regarding the acts of NOISE gurus RedSK and Dental Work.

Let me explain.

This first video we see here is RedSK performing at what looks to be a garage show at a place called “Papa Chinn’s”  located in Fowlerville.

What ensues can only be explained as a possession of his body by resonant noise beings from an ultra chaotic dimension unknown to man. Observe…

Haunting is it not? The chaos climaxes into violence and carnage as Pat goes on a rampage, throwing his gear and convulsing his table unto the ground.

THEN!

Later today new footage emerged out of Fowlerville, showing new occurrences of this phenomena during a show at the same place only one night ago.

This time, The leader of the chaos was non other than Dental Work himself! Accompanied by Redsk, a man named Will Olter from the group “Faction Disaster”, and another man that goes by the name of Aaron Midcalf from the group “Total Hipster Crusher.”

The only way I can describe what happened next is by comparing the group to a horde of demons frantically trying to devour the bowls of a machine.

As you can see, at they end the display a similar act of carnage as they beat the machine to death with hammers. You can hear it’s high pitched screams of torment.

Finally, same night, same show, we encounter a video that is very similar to our first. Once again we have the ring leader RedSK conjuring the ultra chaotic frequencies that bring the resonant demons into our world.

Several unidentified men help usher in this madness, and the climax ensues the same as the rest. Absolute carnage and violent aggression as effects are thrown about, guitars are smashed, and people loose their fucking minds.

I don’t know what’s in the water at Fowlerville, but it makes for a damn good noise show.

Fuck me…

REVIEW: Recollecting a modern classic from Orville Wilcox

Assembling Tunnel to the Underground Vol.3 has proved to be a daunting task. So I decided to take a quick break and share a long over due review.

The album I would like to take a moment to review is Orville Wilcox’s “Recollections.”

a2341603871_10

Recollections is almost two years old now. What’s funny is that the last time I listened to it heavily was around the same time I was assembling my last net release for Kitty on Fire: Tunnel to the Underground Vol.2.

What can I say about this album?

It’s amazing to say the least. In the past four years I have heard MANY releases come out of the underground. But releases of this quality are few and far between. Recollections is an ambient MASTERPIECE.

What makes Recollections so good?

The atmosphere. This album is pure atmosphere.

As a whole, the album is very ethereal. It’s not really busy, very simple, using an assortment of pads.

Listening to it is like traveling through a series of phantom like worlds. Some of these worlds are subtle and even relaxing at times. Other worlds are dark, ominous, and leave you with feelings of hopelessness and melancholy.

Yes it is that powerful.

Very few pieces of media have managed to strike such emotional chords with me. I urge everyone to take the trip and give Recollections a listen. A great album to smoke some of the shire’s finest weed and relax and space out to. Some of my favorite tracks are: The White Ship, Radiant City, and Metallic Trilobite Colony. But I recommend you give it all a listen.

I give Recollections 3 out of 4 Lanterns
